Description

DIAVIL is indicated in the adjuvant treatment with diet and physical activity in patients with type 2 diabetes: – As monotherapy when diet and physical activity are not sufficient In dual combination: – with metformin when diet, physical activity and metformin alone do not provide sufficient glycaemic control – with a sulphonylurea when diet, physical activity and the sulphonylurea do not provide sufficient glycaemic control – with a thiazolidinedione when diet, physical activity and the thiazolidinedione do not provide sufficient glycaemic control In triple combination: – with metformin and a sulphonylurea when diet, physical activity and the dual combination of these two substances do not provide sufficient glycaemic control. DIAVIL is also indicated in combination with insulin (with or without metformin) when diet, physical activity and a stable dose of insulin do not provide sufficient control of blood glucose.
